Hey everyone. Sorry for the unannounced hiatus. I am currently trying to move and do a bunch if other things for school, so next week I will begin blogging as usual. I’m really annoyed that I won’t have any time but I need to focus on more important things (not that y’all aren’t important) and until then I’ll be taking a tiny mint break.
Happy Monday, my little perogies (it’s spelled incorrectly, I know.)! Not a whole lot went on this weekend… Seriously. I watched multiple vamp movies, ate my body weight in guacamole, and had a nice long sleep. The only ‘cool’ thing that happened was that my mother gave me 2 of her old bags (one looks like mini Berkin bag!) So I’ll post some inspiration, motivation, and drool worthy food porn.
WELLLLLLLL. I believe that is it! Gotta finish my breakfast (yogurt and honey flax cereal and a couple strips of turkey bacon) and go to class! Thank you Healthy Diva for hosting MIMM again! Keep up the amazing work and say hi to Rocco for me!
Bonjourno my little pizza pies! Happy Friday to you all. This week I started school, the house got sold (fingers crossed everything works out) and my cleanse from peanut butter is still going…. Much to my displeasure. I am also getting butter all over my computer whilst I eat toast. Maybe not such a grand idea to eat toast and type a post. Oh well. It’s still tasty and I need to hurry up and finish this post before I leave.
School. It’s good. I’m learning and meeting new people and becoming an erudite (scholar for those who’ve not read the Divergent series which is probably all of you). So far my favorite class is English (no surprise there) and Math (BIG SURPRISE BECAUSE I AM TERRIBLE AT MATH). But I won’t bore you with my academics. Let’s talk about food.
My newest obsession? Baby triscuits. They’re easy for me to pour in my lunch bag, easy to snack on, and easy to eat. Which may spark problems if I’m absolutely ‘famished’ after school.
Another yummy thing that resides in my tummy:
Smoothies! I’m late on the bandwagon with this one but I’m really hoping on making some fall inspired recipes soon (including pasta fagoli that tastes just like Olive Garden’s!) and maybe I’ll throw in a pumpkin pie smoothie or something creative like that.
This weekend is all relaxation for the most part (besides a few assignments I am free!) so I’ll be sure to post a Most Wanted post on either Saturday or Sunday including recipes, workouts, and links!
Like it says in the title, there’s not much else going on. So I will leave you with some pictures to stare at.

Hi friends! Happy HUMP DAY! I’ve got a new recipe for y’all, so lets hop right into it!
Breakfast 9:00- I had a super simple breakfast today consisting of plain yogurt, vanilla extract, a sprinkle of cinnamon, blueberries, and Kashi Cinnamon Crunch.
Lunch 1:00– Last night’s stuffed peppers left us with about 5 peppers worth of the rice and vegetable stuffing. So I put a bit of that on top of some baby spinach, microwaved, and topped with hot sauce. It was a filling, delicious, healthy lunch that kept me full for a while.
Workout (Sorta)- Throughout the day I did the following tabata workout: Burpees, Mountain Climbers, High Knees, Jumping Jacks. It left me a but winded but I did it a couple times an hour just because of the insane heat outside left me wanting to keep it quick and sweaty.
Dinner 7:00- Step-Dad made a super delicious pork loin that I enjoyed with a couple spears of asparagus and broccoli. ’twas wonderful! (Ignore the blurry iphone photo!)
Miscellaneous Snacks and Such: I ate about 3/4 of a Cliff Crunchy PB bar throughout the day.
And after dinner I indulged in banana ‘ice cream’ and a small brownie. It was worth it. Trust me.
Now it’s recipe time! I decided to move away from my loyal yogurt mess and drift into my old favorite, oatmeal! Here’s an easy and delicious steel oat recipe!

This month flew by! And the worst part is… I go back to classes in 10 days. I might cry. What ever shall I do?! Well, I should write this Currently post. Let’s get that out of the way, hmm?

Trust me. I read both Divergent and Insurgent in 2 days.

Current Drink: Water. (Tangent: I got terrible food poisoning on Friday – hence why this wasn’t posted yesterday – and basically laid on the couch, slept,
wallowed in sickness, and watched Disney movies. I won’t be having pizza or greek salad for long time.)
Current Food: Bananas. It’s the only thing I can really tolerate. And eggs with a bit of pepper.
Current TV Show(s): Teen Wolf (rewatching seasons one and two currently!), The Pioneer Woman, and Supernatural!
Current Wish List: Plaid skirts, lots of patterned tops and dresses, and boots – black or brown, knee high or low, moto or equestrian-.
Current Needs: A visit to the gym.
Current Triumphs: Actually doing something without feeling dizzy or sick.
Current Bane of My Existence: School. AP homework. School. Yearbook photos. School.
Current Celeb Crush: Still Dylan. Still Josh. And a new comer… DANIEL SHARMAN!
Current Indulgence: Makeup (; I don’t need anymore but I’ll be buying more… I’m not addicted or anything.
Current Blessing: My mother who cleaned me up after being sick, made me food, and didn’t make me move all day. Love you mum!
Current Slang: Nothing this month! I’ve been slang free. That, and I can’t think of any slang off the top of my cloudy, blonde head.
Current Outfit: Oh god. This is embarrassing. Duck Commander tee, glow in the dark cookie PJ shorts, and a bun. I’m so glamourous.
Current Excitement: Beach party on Friday with student body! Meaning I will lay on the sand and listen to the DJ.
Current Mood: Relieved. I’m not barfing everywhere. YAY!

Happy Almost Weekend, friends! I can’t believe this week went by so fast. It’s a bit depressing since I start school in 12 days. But for those of you who work all year, I’m clapping for you. I work over the summer and a few times here and there throughout the year, so props to those who work 80 work weeks.
So lets get some facts up in here!
1. I’m writing this whilst eating my step dad’s amazing chocolate chip banana bread. It may not be the healthiest, but it has banana and walnut (maybe some whole wheat in there) and it’s delicious. Coffee and blueberry Chobani is also for breakfast!
2. Today is actually my last full day of work (that I know of) for the summer! Although I love watching the little cutie pies, I’m glad ill have a couple weeks to really ‘summer’ it up. All nighters, Netflix, killer workouts and more recipes are to come!

Happy Hump Day y’all! Since I don’t want you to wait, took pictures of what I ate Tuesday, rather then Wednesday (which is what I normally do but I wanted to inform you in case any of you were curious… I bet you guys weren’t).
Let’s begin then!
Breakfast 9:30- I had a student body meeting at noon, so I got up and primped (during summer I don’t really dry my hair or do makeup, but since I had to present various things, I dried and curled and whatnot. I then went downstairs and
gorged myself ate my usual bowl of yogurt. This time: Lemon Chobani, blueberries, Kashi, and flax seed (of course). It was a great way to start my busy day!
Snack 10:45- I noshed on a plum after about an hour since the yogurt just wasn’t doing it for me.
Lunch 3:15– I went to my meeting which I thought was only going to last an hour, hour and a half tops. Try double that. I didn’t get home until 3:10 and was starving by then. Even though I knew my mother and I were going out for dinner, I still had a good sized ‘lunch’ of tuna salad on toast.
Workout 4:30- I started with 15 minutes on the elliptical, then did some ab exercises for about 15 minutes, and did a bit more cardio and followed that pattern for a little over an hour. I was dripping with sweat and ready to eat!
Dinner 6:30- Girl’s Night Out was at PF Changs, which is generally where we go since it’s on the same street as the shops and the mall. We did the Prix-Fix menu (you choose a soup, appetizer, 2 entrees, and a small dessert) and picked the following:
I’m kind of weird, but I use the smaller appetizer plate to eat my entree off of. I eat less, and I feel fuller since I eat everything on my plate. I also pick a few more pieces of meat and veg, but for the most part, I eat 1/2 as much food as I would if I ate off the larger entree plate. Just a little tip (;
